- Could be, but not very likely. I'd take a look at the cable. First,
- though, build yourself a bootable floppy and try to boot from that while
- the CD-ROM is attached and powered up. Make sure you can get to your HD
- Toolbox. Also, check the drive out on your own system (again). If all
- this gives no joy, it may indeed be the External SCSI port. It's on the
- same bus as the Internal connection, the one that the Work: volume uses,
- so problems there would seem unlikely - it does work when the external
- drive is not plugged in, right?
